Overview: Highland Park 18 is a very good Whisky and the Travel Edition with the slightly higher ABV (46% compared to 43%) turns the typical Highland Park flavours up just a bit more. A Whisky worthy of Valhalla.

Personal Tasting Notes:

Nose: The nose opens with a gentle peat note accompanied by notes of cherry and honey. It's a very pleasant nose without any overly aggressive notes.

Taste: The taste follows the nose. Peat, cherry and honey, but there is some oak spice and dark chocolate bitterness added. The Whisky is very enjoyable to drink and something I use as an entry point for people into Whiskies with peat.
