Peaty, Wild and Tasty

~Port Charlotte Islay Barley 2011~

Overview: This one is as wild as the Atlantic Coast of Islay. It is vibrant and not as rounded off as the 10 years old. But if you like peat and a Whisky that changes with every sip, this is something you don't want to miss.

Personal Tasting Notes
Nose: The Whisky opens with a burst of really earthy peat and behind comes that Classic Laddie DNA with notes of lemon and light fruits. Smell again and there is hints of oak spice and vanilla.

Taste: The peat is combined with a salty sea air note and caramel. There are hints of light fruit and some spice from the oak. It is a beautiful Whisky with which you can spend hours trying to get all the flavours floating around.
