From Grain to Glass

Overview: 100% Islay. That's what Kikchoman stands for. From Grain to Glass, everything is done on Islay. The Sanaig has a majority of it's Whisky aged in sherry barrels and I love the pairing of peat and sherry notes.

Personal Tasting Notes:

Nose: The nose opens with a beautiful peatiness interlaced with the dark fruits from the sherry. There is a bit of spice from the oak and a hint of honey.

Taste: The notes from the nose show up in the taste as well. However the honey turns into more of a caramel for me. Overall it is just a lovely Whisky to drink.
