Festive Teeling Tasting

What an amazing pairing. Wine finished Whiskey and chocolate. The line up was out of this world as well. Teeling Single Grain, Pinot Noir Cask finish and the Renaissance 2 which was finished in Australian Shiraz Casks. Those three Whiskies were paired with some exceptional chocolate made by the proper chocolate company from Dublin. A bean to bar operation that does everything themselves. 

It was amazing to see that while the chocolate enhanced the sweetness in the Teeling Single Grain, it muted it in the Pinot Noir Cask and enhanced the cask notes. The Renaissance is an absolute beast of a Whiskey. You could live in the taste of it forever. A great way to start the Christmas season.

In the end I’d like to say a big THANK YOU to Chris and Teeling for the support of my blog this year and for giving me the opportunity to taste some amazing Whiskies. Hopefully I’ll be able to visit the Distillery in 2021.
