Teeling Plantation Pineapple Rum Cask Finish

This Whiskey as so many others of the special releases by Teeling is a collaboration. This time they were able to get their hands on Plantations Stiggins' Fancy Pineapple Rum Casks. 

I was able to try this Whiskey before it was even released to public during a virtual tasting and just knew I needed to get my hands on a bottle.

Updated Personal Tasting Notes:

Nose: At first you get hit by a smell of pineapple. Not surprising given the casks it was finished in. Then there is exotic fruits like oranges, limes and grapefruit. There is an earthy quality to the nose and the typical Irish toffee note.

Taste: The taste follows the nose but add some pepper spicyness and some leather notes towards the finish. All in all a very enjoyable Whiskey.
