Glenfiddich Online Masterclass

What a line up! Glenfiddich 18, Glenfiddich 21 Rum Cask Finish, Glenfiddich 23 Grand Cru, Glenfiddich XX and the Glenfiddich Fire & Cane. Truly a stunning bunch of dram. However one of them was a surprise for sure.

The Glenfiddich 18 is an excellent starting point for a tasting. It has all the typical Glenfiddich flavours turned up a notch. Elegant and balances it's a perfect sip and relax whisky.

Ever since I've been to the deconstruction the 21 years old is my favourite Glenfiddich. The rum cask finish adds this layer of dark and rich notes.

The 23 years old Grand Cru was a bit of a disappointment. Compared to the 18 years old I couldn't find much of a difference. Not my cup of tea.

The double X is another brilliant Glenfiddich. Thanks to the higher proof the flavours really come to life and the influence from the twenty ambassadors adds some flavours the classic Glenfiddich don't have.

Last but not least the Fire and Cane is an amazing experience. The peat and the rum casks really compliment each other and it's liquid BBQ. An amazing dram.
