There is not much you can say about the Talisker 10, that hasn't been said a thousand times. It's a classic. Shaped by the wild nature of the Isle of Skye and the Sea that's just outside the doorstep of the distillery. It's a Whisky that you can drink with a five course meal and it will change with every course, letting you discover new flavoures and staying interessting for a whole evening. But then again it's also the perfect companion for sipping a dram at a campfire somewhere out in the wild.

Personal Tasting Notes:

Nose: The first thing to hit the nose is peat smoke and then the salt from the sea that has been inthe air around the casks for 10 years. Beside that I get a citrus freshness mixed with some sweeter fruit elements.

Taste: On there is again the peat smoke and the sweet fruits from the nose. And then I get some spicyness from the casks and again that hint of salt.
