Kilkerran @ InterWhisky 2019

Kilkerran 12 Years old:

Had a great time trying this at InterWhisky. Nicole Lindsay did an amazing job explaining everything about Kilkerran Distillery, about the upcoming releases and the Whisky we had to try. Overall a great start to the day.

Personal Tasting Notes:

Nose: The smoke you get is very soft and with it come caramelised fruits and a light sweetness

Taste: Again there is a light smoke, a bit of spice from the casks, the caramelised fruits and the sweetness. 

The Whisky has a very light smoke (10-15ppm) and is a mix of about 80% ex-Bourbon and 20% Oloroso Sherry Casks.
